He's not in the current line-up, but I think it's because he's doing so many of his own projects, and a lot of the Mondo dates have been few and far between lately. No idea about the August Australia tour, maybe we should ask Nick on that one.
EH up!!!! I'm here..... So, wondering where I've been....mmmm.... I had an accident 6 months ago, typical tour story..ya know like Cliff Burton-esque....Van drives down road, tyre blows out, van flips and rolls down the road, and I got ejected through the side window while the van was rolling....true rock and roll!!! I was the only fecker to get hurt...****ty luck. So I got nerve and tissue damage to the spine and full-body whiplash, and I messed up my hip, so I walk around with a big limp...still feeling the pain everyday...aaawwwwww..... Anyway's, couldn't play guitar for ages as I lost some motor function in my hands and stuff, so now just getting back into it, although still pisses me off that I can't play as well as I want...major bummer.... So yeah, I'm not with Mondo as ya all know.... Basically, I live in England, the rest of the band in LA. It's fine if your touring alot, although It's expensive to have one dude in the band having to fly over to tour, it worked a few times but it really does kill the finances. so I left and hoped the rest of the guys would keep doing their thing. would have loved to do the austrailian dates but then, I can't tour just now anyway... I heard that Nick has put Mondo back to a side project, that's a real bummer.... but he's into doing the knives which is cool and hopefully they'll do some cool ****. Haven't spoken to him for a while but I hear he's doing good....and damn I missed jamming with Hoss on the last dates....awesome drummer!!!! but hopefully they'll get a NEW Mondo record done soon.... I Have a few projects that I'm working on, a heavy band called Orange Elephant ( myspace.com/orangeelephantuk ) looking for a singer but I think we're gonna do some shows just instrumentally until a singer is found. I started another project called F.R.o.M. which is more chilled head space stuff for all the smokers...started it while I couldn't play guitar and is mostly sample programming stuff.... I also auditioned for Tricky, and looked at a few other things to go out on tour, but doctors they say NO!!! so had to let those opportunites pass by, damn.... there it is, life turned literally upside down and round and round....next plan.... buy a boat and go live in the hot sun somewhere and get stoned.....for medical purposes......hahaha.....Laters...
Damn bro, sorry to read about your accident. That's some crazy ****! Hope you're able to recover to your normal bass-ass self. In the meantime, take advantage of the medicinal herb!
