My birthday was a good one. I got the usualls, cd's, dvds computer games.
I went out last night for a meal with my family too which was cool.

Also I'm envious of you going out on the town. It seems ages ago sinse I last did that.
I'm desperate to go out and shame myself.
So, I guess it's lock up your sons JH?

And Mike I'm more envious than you. I want a none stop party lifestyle.
Newgh, I'm too dull.

LOL! Well not lock up your sons, unfortunately those days are over but I still have the memories *sheepish grin* and hey, I can pretend!

Yeah I'm meeting up with all my old college friends so that should be fun...Trouble is where i live it's waaaaaayyyyy too small and you always end up bumping into someone you reallllyyyyy didn't want to, but more alcohol usually cures any awkwardness that causes !

I have a jam packed month ahead actually:
Out this weekend Fri night, out Sat night (well working but will be tucking into the bar no doubt)
Next weekend it's my birthday - YAY! And I'm going to the Boosh festival!
Weekend after that I'm hosting a house warming BBQ party and my friend is getting married = free bar, woohoo!
Weekend after that I'm in Belgium at a bike rally ! Cheap Belgium beer on tap, yes please..

Jesus, I feel tired, drunk and SKINT just thinking about it!! weirdface

The Dandy's were AWESOME!
You could tell they were having a great time on stage.. and when you're in the audience and you feel that it makes the show even bettter. I was right in front of Zia the whole time. .. I got a small crush on her.  They played for nearly 2 hours. I recommed seeing them!

I saw them at the Big Day Out a few years ago. One of the worst sets I've ever seen. They were so ****ing boring. I was extremely disappointed. They were my favourite band for years!

I'm disturbed by the fact that you would know this.

So I mowed the lawn last Saturday. As I was sweeping the clippings off the sidewalk, a man came running down my street. I stopped. I found it weird that he would be running. Wearing jeans. At 2:00 p.m.,on a bright sunny day in Houston. It was like 95 outside w/like 100% humidity!
So I watched him come down the street, run past, continue down the street, then turn the corner out of sight. I stood there perplexed, still staring at the spot where I last had sight of him. For about 10 seconds. Then the police helicopter buzzed past. Turned around. Flew a circle over my house. Then fly away. Has that ever happened to you?

Wow. Crazy.

Nope, that's never happened to me. Though I am in the process of getting the neighbours evicted. On Sunday night, the ambo's and cops sirens were going mental. I didn't think anything of it cos its a common noise (I live a block away from Sydney Rd for those of you who know Melbourne). The next day on the news, the headline was "two young children get killed by drunk driver in a roadside accident", turns out it happened just down the road from me and thats what the sirens were for.

Wow. That's unfortunate.
I guess it's crazy all over.
The people at the end of my block have cops show up at their parties like every Friday night.
I lost count of how many times that police copter scenario has been played out. This year!
We've averaged two televised police car pursuits in my 'hood for like the last four or five.

I'm not used to living in suburbs with people like this. In Perth, they live in the eastern suburbs. I lived in the western suburbs with all the posh people and soccer mums. Hopefully we won't have to deal with them for much longer. It's beyond a joke, really.
Why haven't you moved out of your 'hood?

hahahaha! I just bought this house! hahaha!
Anyway, this is the city. It's a Mexican 'hood, so the food is great and it's close to downtown, the clubs, parks, baseball and basketball stadiums and like six blocks from my job. I HATE driving the freeways on weekdays. Unless I'm stoned, of course.
