I'm so excited about this weekend! On Friday morning, well night really, 4am!! I am leaving on the back of a trike for a rally / festival in Belgium! Hopefully the weather will be nice and it will be a weekend of belgium beer (the best IMO!), lots of sun and cool bands - YAY!!

I love this time of year, I keep having such cool and funny experiences! I spent all weekend at my local beer festival (run by one of two local pubs in a field behind) getting drunk and talking to random neighbours, you know you live in the country when this pops up in coversation:

Neighbour: 'I haven't come to this pub in years, even though I only live round the corner'
Me: 'Oh, why not?'
Neighbour: 'Well about 20 years ago the landlord called my girlfriend a bitch so I came back later that night with a samurai sword and chopped the place to bits'

me: smile.gif
Him: = not joking!!

He then proceeded to pull out one of those lighter stick things for bonfires etc and said that anyone who messed with him tonight was going to get this!! (He is about 60 !!) PMSL! When a drunk but harmless bloke wobbled up to me to try and chat me up, the Frank the Firestarter (that's his new name smile.gif ) grabbed him by the throat and proceeded to try and attack him with his lighter thing!!

Oh my god, I so love living in an inbred society!! ha!!

Local beer festivals are usual legendary although I hate all the drunken old men like the one you mentioned.
People love them because they're "characters" but they're just sad old drunken yobs.

Yeah we always go to the town beer festival but this was a proper village one so it was even funnier! (and cheaper!). Another one in two weeks, bring it on! 8% cider, now that's my kind of party!

I like the drunken old men, purely for entertainment value you understand!biggrin

Cider Yum! .... a good friend of mine from Newcastle (UK) introduced me to Snakebites.. I got hooked really fast.. 1/2 Guiness 1/2 Cider.. mmm mmm mmm delicious!aww

I became an uncle yesterday because my sister gave birth to a perfect little baby boy.
He's Ryan and he's awesome so hopefully I'll be seeing him again this weekend.

congrats on being an uncle!

So the weekend isnt too bad...
Got a few drinks after work and had a few laughs,
heard from the MIA boyfriend also.. which is always nice...

REALLY want to see the new Batman movie..
Everyone seems to be seeing it, and i want to play that game dammit!!

and then Seattle is having a Block Party today and tomorrow.

What a ****ed up weekend.

Friday night caught up with my boyfriend, went to see Dark Knight, blah blah, got boozed, blah blah. Crashed at his, he was working saturday, so i left his place at about 9amish and went home. Was feeling a touch seedy and average, so i thought i better have a nap. I got all my stuff ready to go out saturday night.. Woke up from my nap, quickly hopped onto facebook, because im a nerd like that, and had to organise a lift there. Got an email from said boyfriend. A ****ing breakup EMAIL. Whats up with break up etiquette? Could he not be bothered to have said it to my face the earlier night? LAME! Way to ruin a girl morale before heading out for a girls night. Went out, got too boozed, im now a litt scared by alot of the photos that are cropping up everywhere! Hahahah eek. Now its sunday night. and ive had a good, but bad weekend :(

I hope next weekend is better. Cant wait to go out to my brothers gig next weekend, and get asked by everyone, so wheres Pj??

Omg! What a ****! Did he give you a reason? Wanker!!!!!!!! How long were you with him for?

Well, today I managed to get a band banned from ever playing Pony. There goes their chance of getting famous in Melbourne, haha.

And I also managed to get convinced that booking shows in Perth would be a good idea. So now I have 3 bands confirmed for a show in November, waiting to hear back from another 2. There's barely any promoters in Perth.

Oh just got the usual breakup bull****. Nothing exciting. How he is too tired and stressed out from work to fully commit to a relationship, and that he needs to sort himself out first, blah blah. Stock standard stuff. But seriously... email?! LAME.
Plus he still has my fire staff, and my brothers copy of Silent Hill 2... eek. ahahahha
I did get an offer from a cute gabber Dj though... so life isnt ALL bad at the moment :)
