Well, I will say this. QOTSA sux without Nick, the mixture of Josh's melodic style combined with the ferocity of Nicks style made for a well balanced and more interesting Queens......the new so called QOTSA record yawn

seems so pretentious an not nearly so well thought out, like they really didn't try very hard and are resting on their laurels.

The new QOTSA video "Make it witchu" is ****ing lame and gay as hell.....Josh is workin' it like a smarmy piece of corporate cheese..................................
and it made me "sick sick sick!"

If they are smart idea

they will get past the bull****, get back together, and make a new QOTSA record to kill us all!!! But I highly doubt it. This is probably wishful thinking, but I am putting it out to the multi-universe for the Aliens to abduct them, reprogram them, and erase their memory so they can do it one more time from scratch. biggrin

I don't know for sure, but what I read was that Josh was getting angry at the way Nick acted on tours. At a festival in Melbourne Nick smashed his guitar onstage and walked off stage. The whole band followed and they returned without Nick.

At Nick's last ever show in Perth, he was banned from the hotel. Not entirely sure what happened but there was security hanging out in the lobby after the show. During 'No One Knows' instead of playing his bass solo, he smashed his bass to pieces and walked off stage. The other guys finished the song, walked off and came back about 10mins later with Nick naked.

Ah, those were the days. Danger and nudity.
Nowadays at queens shows it's pretty much everybody standing around playing and the same goes for Mondo.
I'd like to see Nick get someone else to play bass to leave him to do vocals and claim the stage.
