I had a cool but very wet and muddy weekend at the Bulldog Bash!
Managed to spend £200 on beer / cider / vodka in 3 nights so I think that's the sign of a good weekend! Fun Lovin Crims headlined but they were pants and I was disapointed how a 'used-to-be' good looking Hughie Morgan had turned into a gross fat bloke! Funniest part of the shows (apart from the wet t shirt constest mingers of course!) was when The Wildhearts front man was blabbering on between songs how they'd been touring for a year and this was by far the weirdest show they'd ever done, he started another sentence but quick as a flash a Hells Angel ran onto the stage, grabbed him by the throat and floored him! He came up after a bit of rough and tumble and said 'i said WEIRDEST not WORST!!' ha ha!! Then he had to finish the set, I bet he was sh1tting himself, thinking he was going to get a right kicking afterwards....That will teach him to mic hog!
Here is my weekend in pics, loads of nice cars and bikes! I wish I had a pic of me on Sat night, found rolling around in the mud with a leather cowboy hat on and my face painted like the dark knight batman stylie, lol! I can't remember anything...
Arriving on Thurs night, after a 5 hour ride on the Trike. It held off raining until the tent went up but after that it didn't really stop

It's a shame the Fun Lovin Criminals weren't that good. I saw them in 2001 and they were awesome then. Also I'm glad you survived lay bys on the way home. ...was that too soon?

Yes!! The police were everywhere all weekend after last year and this is the first big bike rally to actually happen this year, all others cancelled due to being deemed dangerous!
I'm glad it went without a hitch, you honestly see more trouble at regular festivals than you do there, which considering there is 50,000 bikers attending is pretty impressive. This was my 5th year in a row and best i think!

Ha, we are friends with a scooter club down here (my bf is in an MCC bike club), it's like how he put it 'We're the same really, we both love bikes, the only difference is yours are sh1t'!! lol!
My bf has a 1984 corvette, exactly the same as Face Man from the A team! Ha! Now if that isn't a poser car I don't know what is!

.. and you know the funny thing is that A LOT of people here in Seattle are snatching up scooters left and right because of the cost of gas. Honestly.. I've thought about doing the same.. but not a Vespa.. something with more character.
